Description
This online utility makes it very easy to check the SERP rank or position for a website or domain, for a keyword or search phrase.
You can choose between the searchengines Google, Bing and Yahoo.
For Google you can further specify the Google "scope", eg "google.fr", "google.de" and so on.
It gives good insight to know the visibility across different languages / domains.
Also, by checking "Search phrase", you can see the differences in SERP rank with or without quotes, which is good for longtail analysis.
Besides being a very quick way to track down the performance for a website or domain in SERP's, the search is performed
serverside. By that you avoid "doctered" results from the searchengine, based on your cookies or logged search-history.
The suggested SERP ranks will most likely not match your own searches by 100%, since a searchengine like Google is considering individual search history (and much more) when delivering a SERP to a client. In the SERP rank checker the search is performed serverside, and by that cleaned for your habits, more close to a user not being you. Furthermore, sitelinks does not count as matching hits - the ranks is more accurate and as a human would find logical.
